I've been looking at this workbench and I don't understand Chris's shopping list. There are four legs, each of which is four laminations and nominally 32" high (not deducting the tenon shoulders). That makes over 42 feet of board. Yet his shopping list is only 12', which doubles to 24' when you rip the 2x12s down to 2x6. Alternatively, 24' divided by four legs is 6' per leg, divided by four laminations is 1,5' or 18" legs. Which seems a tad short for a mighty tall guy like Chris. What am I not seeing?
