Sammy’s first day of school

Today is the day we’ve been waiting for... Sammy’s first day of school. Until now, Sammy’s been going to Gallaudet’s Child Development Center, which is a mix of school and day care. It’s a great place and we’ll miss it. But now she’s really going to school. Pre-K, to be exact. She was phenomenal -- very excited, but in a stoic way. When the time came to go in, it was a kiss, a wave good-bye and that was it. (I did sneak in to take some extra pictures.)
