Butterflies!
This morning we took advantage of the lousy weather to look at the live butterfly exhibit at the Natural History Museum. In this climate-controlled 85-degree, 80 percent humidity environment, you can watch hundreds of butterflies dance from flower to flower, sipping nectar through their unfurled proboscises.
Sammy enjoyed feeling one butterfly land on her hair. I enjoyed taking photos, though I’d really like to get some new glass for my Canon SLR. Anyway, here are a couple more pics:
